Brady + Haley were married at one of my favorite venues, on a gorgeous day, and I got to work with some of my favorite vendors. These guys are the BEST of the best- hire them (check out their vendor list at the bottom of the post). They turn potential hiccups into high fives and make ugly church rooms look like beautiful cathedrals. Not that we had any ugly on this day- trust me, there was a whole lot of pretty.

I couldn't get over all the color at this wedding! I loved how Haley incorporated all the beautiful shades and kept it romantic. It perfectly fit her. It can be easy to get caught up in the details of the wedding day, but it was evident that these two truly enjoyed their day. The fabulous reception ended with a surprise helicopter send off! The helicopter landed just as the guests were lining up to send them off- I was in awe of the giant propellers and the force of wind that they created. I'm not sure there is a more epic way to go out.

Thank you guys for letting us photograph your wedding day. Congratulations!

Ahh, the beginnings of wedding season! Spring could not have begun without a more fun crew than this. Kyle and Rebecca were married at First United Methodist Church here in Lubbock, and had their reception at the Texas Tech Club. Besides the gorgeous spring florals put together but College Flowers, I loved getting to photograph these two Tech grads on the field at Jones Stadium- something that could not have happened so effortlessly were it not for the expert planning abilities of Jill Leven with Eat, Drink and Be Marry.

This couple has a truly wonderful group of family and friends and were just plain excited to finally be married. I loved getting to capture it all happen! Congrats you two!

Travis + Kinsey's lovely wedding occurred in June, but I've been waiting to show it here on my blog because it was recently published in the new West Texas wedding magazine, The Wedding Connection.  (You can view the feature online right here.)

When I first met with Kinsey, she told me that the vision she had for her wedding day was "vintage elegance", and the wedding was exactly that. Beautiful, pale pink and ivory florals, a stunning wedding gown, men looking dapper in black and bow ties, plus a little glitz and glam....add in a great band and you've got a scene from a Cary Grant movie.

Not only that, but these two lined up a fantastic group of vendors who ensured that the wedding went off smoothly, and that Kinsey, Travis, and their families were able to enjoy their guests instead of fretting about details. It was perfect, I tell you.

I am so thankful for the help of Ashley Rodgers on this wedding day- many of these images are hers. Please, now, enjoy these images!

I have been so blessed by this couple throughout their engagement, and was not suprised in the least when their wedding day was just wonderful! These two were married at The Legacy in Lubbock. It was a very special, personalized ceremony that was so neat to experience. One of my favorite parts of this day was getting to watch Zach and Cassie experience it all. Cassie is so full of joy and laughter- and Zach is such a kind heart. Their excitement and emotion was written all over their faces.

They also selected a great group of vendors- it was such a pleasure to work with Jill Leven of Eat, Drink and Be Marry, and Lindsay Haworth of 41 Productions!

If you chose to do a First Look, would you recommend it to others? Why?
Cassie: Yes, most def. I was so anxious to see him that it really calmed my nerves to see him before. Also, I felt like I took in more walking down the aisle because I wasn't just so nervous about seeing him. I saw everyone in the audience, my bridesmaids, my family, Zach's family, the flowers down the aisle, and of course Zachry down the aisle waiting for me. I would for sure do the First Look- it just made the ceremony so much more enjoyable and laid back for me.

These photos are of each of their parents' weddings. Loved it!

What was the most memorable moment about your day?
Cassie: The most memorable moment for me was listening to Zach say his vows to me and seeing him so emotional about what he was saying. It was really special to hear his promise to God and his promise to me- it was surreal.

Zach: The most memorable moment for me was when I saw Cassie walking down the aisle. It became very real to me and I got pretty emotional.

Zach + Cassie chose to gift their parents with flowers and a thank you note during the ceremony. It was so sweet. This was also the first ceremony I've seen where a pastor used a giant ball for an illustration! It was awesome.

Love this advice from Cassie:

Walk slowly down the aisle and take in everything! Also, be yourself during the ceremony- if you aren't a serious couple, don't be so serious! We had fun during our ceremony- you can too!

The Frazier Alumni Pavilion looked great. I loved the light flooding through the large windows.

Congrats guys!
