Say hello to yet another family who I look forward to seeing every year- and who have permanently influenced my life for the better. They also have two boys, who are both fine young men (and getting older very quickly!). I love seeing how they respect their parents, but are still clearly teenagers and have their own interests. Makes this Mommy of a little boy excited!

We shot in the most gorgeously-light-filled parking garage this year, and I loved how clean and linear these images turned out. Thanks for a wonderful session, Ross family!

Whew! I dove in head first for Mini-Sessions in Amarillo on the 6th. 8 awesome families met me in the park and we had a blast. It was a long day, but a very rewarding one. I left realizing just how blessed I am by my clients- and I hope that the images I capture for them bless them right back! Here are some images that caught my eye browsing through:

I'm always so excited when Wendy contacts me to set up a family photoshoot. I've been honored to photograph these guys every year for a while now, and it has been so much fun to watch Dane and Zack grow. They are totally ALL BOY and it makes me excited for our little one. Greg and Wendy are great parents. I had a lot of favorites from our session- here are a few!

Oh, I love this time of year- I get to photograph lots of families in anticipation for Christmas, and the leaves are changing- it just makes everything so beautiful. I met the Blackburn family at Texas Tech for their photoshoot (they are big Tech fans). Though it rained and poured the next day, we had beautiful weather. These guys are super nice and I had such a great time with them. Here are some of my favorites!

I love, love, love getting to photograph this family- they are always so much fun and dressed so well. :) Jessica is 5 months pregnant with their second baby girl and Miss Chloie is super excited about meeting her new baby sister. We had some fun in downtown Lubbock for their shoot this year.

I brought some confetti to play with at the end!

2011 Christmas Card Collection

lissa-anglinComment

Wow- I can't believe it's that time again! I enjoyed designing these cards so much- I even turned on my favorite Christmas album and drank a cup of coffee (ok, the coffee thing isn't just seasonal).

These cards are offered to my clients and feature images from their sessions (past sessions, or any session booked before Dec. 1).

I will be booking the ever-popular MINI-SESSIONS from now until December. (This is the only time this year they will be available.)

Your Mini-Session Includes:

• 30-45 Minutes of shoot time with Lissa

• 1 location, 1 outfit

• No limit on number of people

Cost: 60.00 + tax

Please note that Mini-Sessions, unlike regular Portrait sessions, do not include any print credit.

You will be able to purchase prints from your session (regardless of whether or not your order Christmas Cards) from your online gallery, which will be posted about a week after your session.

A special rate of 250.00 (normally 500.00) is available for those who wish to purchase the digital negatives.

Christmas Card and print pricing can be found HERE.

I have a special plan for any revenue from my Mini-Sessions this year-

It is likely that Shawn and I will have the opportunity to go on one (maybe two) missions trips this year, and so of course I am doing my best to prepare financially. I'm hoping to shoot enough Mini-Sessions this year to cover our expenses, so instead of keeping our lights on you'll be buying some VBS materials for kids in Europe. :)

If you'd like to book a session, please contact me through the "Portraits" Contact form in the menu bar above.

Now- on to the designs! I pulled from two of my inspirations- illustration and the art deco style. I hope you love them as much as I do!

• You have your choice of watercolor, linen, pearl, or matte paper.

• All cards come in sets of 25 with envelopes.
