chris + ashley
What a seriously fun wedding. Ashley and Chris were married two weekends ago in my college hometown of Plainview. It was a beautiful day for January and these two were so much fun to follow- they were married at the Fair Theatre and the reception was held on the WBU campus.
Out of the hundreds (literally- hundreds) of images I liked, these are some of my favorites. This couple chose to see each other before the ceremony, which leant us plenty of time to go on a photo escapade.
Each bridesmaid's bouquet was wrapped with a different style of black and white ribbon. They also wrapped tealights in the different ribbons at the reception. I loved the idea!
In the ticketbooth inside the lobby of the theatre: "Hello? Yes, I'd like some tickets to my wedding...yes, it's today..."
Behind this lovely bunch is the Quick Lunch Diner (now a coffee shop), which was seen in Steve Martin's movie "Leap of Faith".
Beautiful, dramatic light inside the ceremony.
Loved the "red" candy bar.
Just thought I'd throw this out there for any Wayland people: Can you spot Dr. Manning?
To Chris and Ashley- thank you guys for being so up for anything- especially when I asked you to squeeze into a tiny, dirty alley staircase! You two are really wonderful together and your love for God is obvious!
