Ya'll, this is Taylor. She's gorgeous, smart, and has a plan for her future. Taylor is confident and comfortable with herself- unafraid to pose next to a cool old car we saw in a questionable alleyway...she's basically who I wish I would have been as a senior in high school :). I'm so glad she drove from Amarillo to let me shoot her senior portraits. Taylor, you are awesome, and congrats!

CommentIt rained and poured the day of Brooke's session, so we shot part of it and then rescheduled for the next week, when it rained and poured even harder! Incredibly, this girl was still up for the challenging weather conditions and managed to take some of my favorite images this year! Big thanks to Ivey Gardens Greenhouses for sheltering us from the storm!

CommentShooting with people like Morgan is one of the reasons I love working with seniors. I LOVED her style and fresh face. Morgan has a great attitude and a clear direction for what she'd like to pursue after graduation. It was great to have creative space during her session- she trusted me whether we were in an alley way or in the middle of a bunch of tumbleweeds! Really, though- I am in love with so many of the images from her session. These are just a few!

1 CommentIsaiah is my nephew (wow, I feel old!) and is graduating from Borger High School this year. I was excited to shoot his photos and was thankful that he was up for pretty much any weird idea I had. He's like that- easygoing, accommodating and thoughtful. I know God's got some big plans for Isaiah.
Like many seniors in high school, he's got several options for the next season of his life. I'm praying that whatever he's doing, he's doing it in an effort to seek God and His Glory- I know that's Isaiah's heart. Thinking about his personality, I've decided to pray this scripture over Isaiah's life- it's from one of my favorite books of the Bible- Isaiah!
Congrats, Isaiah!

CommentAnna drove in from the tiny town of Merkel, Texas on a cold morning here in Lubbock to shoot her senior photos. There was still snow on the ground, but I was so thankful she was up for shooting in the cold! We had some beautiful light and I just loved talking with her. Anna's planning to work somewhere in the graphic design field- I'm confident whatever she put her mind to, she'll do! Congrats Anna!erkel M

CommentMeet Kirsten! This lady is so much fun- she is funny, easy to talk to, and just gorgeous! Kirsten is graduating from TTU in just a few weeks and I loved getting to shoot with her. I am positive that she has some incredible things ahead of her- she is passionate and driven. I also loved her style- which makes sense- she is involved in the Texas Tech Retail Association, amongst other clubs and activities. We had a beautiful day to shoot, and I'm so in love with these images.
